NINTENDO DOWNLOAD HIGHLIGHTS NEW DIGITAL CONTENT FOR NINTENDO SYSTEMS - FEB. 6, 2014

This week’s Nintendo Download includes the following featured content:

Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS™
Bravely Default™ – Square Enix's highly acclaimed fantasy RPG brings deep, strategic combat to the Nintendo 3DS system in an ambitious game that bolsters its turn-based combat with a compelling new risk-and-reward system. Explore Luxendarc as Tiz and other memorable characters on a visually stunning quest to restore balance to the world. Bravely Default will be available on Feb. 7.

Retro City Rampage™: DX – Rampage the '80s in an open world by stealing cars and running missions, all while jumping on civilians for coins and outrunning the law with power-ups. This send-up of '80s and '90s video games and pop culture includes both a full Story Mode of open-world adventure as well as an Arcade Mode for quick pick-up-and-play action. If that's not enough, it also packs an interactive city full of shops, mini-games, customizations, collectibles and special guest stars.

Nintendo eShop on Wii U™
The LEGO® Movie Videogame – Step into the blocky shoes of Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average citizen who is mistakenly identified as the key to saving the world. Players guide him as he is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. The LEGO Movie Videogame will be available on Feb. 7.

Virtual Console™ on Wii U
Ninja Gaiden® – Players take the role of Ryu Hayabusa and fight their way through 10 challenging side-scrolling levels while defeating gangs of street thugs, battling evil ninjas and fighting barbarian bosses. Using the deadly Dragon Sword, ninja skills and ninja magic, players make their way through each stage and collect items to gain points, strength and weapons.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles weekly to the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system as well as the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL systems, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features games, applications and videos. Users can add money to their account balances by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo eShop Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be loaded in the Nintendo eShop on either Wii U or Nintendo 3DS, but can be used in either Nintendo eShop if the systems are linked to a single Nintendo Network account.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

Remember that Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo DSi feature parental controls that let adults manage some of the content their children can access.
